Project Lazarus: Systemic Pathology SPARROW ED8 main notes deck + Hematopathology deck
Hey everyone! After spending around 10 intense days of focused work, I’m super excited to share an Anki deck I’ve been working on — built especially for those prepping with Marrow Edition 8 and aiming to master Systemic Pathology and Hematopathology.
What This Deck Covers
1. Systemic Pathology (sparrow Edition 8)
* Based solely on main notes from sparrow Edition 8
* This deck is an extension of the rapid revision deck created by Dr Suryansh Kul.
* Does not include General Pathology — I believe that's straightforward enough to cover from your own notes
* Total cards: ~2200
* Includes all relevant images from the notes
* Special feature: Every card with a histopathology image is tagged with a red flag, so if you're revising just histo slides — filter by tag and you're set.
*the extra portion is added from edition 8 notes.
*breast chapter has been completely made from IO, didnt get time for its cloze deletions.
*have added bone tumours from mangomedic ortho
I am planning to add more and more histopath and images from Robins to make this a comprehensive Indian Pathology deck
2. Hematopathology
* A hybrid deck: core structure taken from the mnemosynedeck (First Aid-based)(with pharmacology chapter removed)
* Then carefully merged and expanded with information from:
* Sparrow Edition 8 (Medicine)(few)
* Sparrow Edition 5 (Pathology)(few)
*leukaemia from sparsh gupta pathology
Based on my annottated first aid notes i made in my final year (will upload the pdf in here)
* Select additional sources for rare facts and important updates
* Total cards: \~1300

Why I Created This Deck
I couldn’t find a high-quality, image-rich deck specifically aligned with sparrow 8's systemic pathology structure.
I wanted something taggable, filterable, and ready for active recall, without having to jump between notes, books, and sources.
This deck is my attempt to bring clarity, efficiency, and visual memory into one place.
How to Use It
* Import into Anki (preferably with image occlusion and tagging support)
* Use tag browser to filter redflag for quick histo review
* Mix in the Hematopathology deck during medicine/patho review weeks to reinforce overlaps
* Focus only on Systemic and Hemato — no General Path because it’s better done directly from your own concise notes
What’s Coming Next?
This isn’t the end. I’m planning to release a full study suite in phases:
1. GRG Pharmacology (Main Notes) Anki Deck – Coming up next week
2. FMT Anki Deck – already made, will upload soon
3. Anat Ashwini main deck
Final Words
This deck took 10 full days of effort, and I’ve tried to ensure clarity, visual reinforcement, and alignment with the most reliable prep resources we have. It’s ideal for Sparrow users, AIIMS/NEET PG aspirants, and anyone who prefers image-based active recall.
Let me know if you’d like access, or suggestions for improvements. If you find this useful, consider sharing it with your batchmates and study groups. Every comment and bit of feedback helps make the next decks even better.
