If you are planning to use Anki for a long term use, its essential you spend some time of yours now to set a solid foundation. Don't make half hearted attempts to learn the basic features and start solving Anki, cause you will end up wasting more of your time infact.

The video although made for Anki PC users, will suffice for those planning to use Ankidroid or Anki on ipad or ios, as the fundamental concepts are the same in every platform.
